2026 VSGA Senior Amateur & Senior Open of Virginia Qualifying

FORMAT:

• 18-hole stroke play competition
• All non-exempt players must qualify to play in each championship. 
• The total number of participants at each qualifier will vary by site and will be filled by lowest Handicap Index as of July 13, 2026. 

 

STARTING TIMES

• Starting times will begin at 8:00 a.m. off hole #1
• Groupings and starting times will be available on Friday, July 31.

 

COURSE FEE

• Included in your entry fee.

 

QUALIFYING SPOTS

• The number of qualifying spots in each division will be announced the day before the qualifier.

 

TENTATIVE YARDAGE

•  6,200 - 6,400 yards

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

• Available during the afternoon on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday August 2. Additional times may be available at the clubs discretion.
• Please email Ray Dingledine at ray.dingledine@stonehengegcc.com to book a practice round. Be sure to identify yourself as playing a practice round for this event. Do not call the pro shop or just show up.
• Fee: $63
  • Range balls are included in your practice round fee.
  • Range balls are included on the day of the qualifier.
